Patience is a virtue.
Nothing is more frustrating to me then keeping the patience after waiting for my parents, who knew school got out at 3:30pm, to pick me up almost an hour later. Yesterday was a 6 period class schedule, which meant I had to carry 3 of my heaviest books around school, not to mention some I didn't even need. Each class I walked to, I hauled my books in one arm, walking a distance from each class to the next. The wind blowing almost 20 mph was even more frustrating trying to walk the distance between classes, with squared bricks dragging me down along with my patience. It felt like being in front of a huge fan, my hair whipping my face, covering my eyes from seeing where I had to go. I constantly had to brush it out of my face, but the wind kept blowing. As the final bell rang, I headed to the front of the school where I would wait for my ride along with two other friends who rode carpool with me. Not only was i bothered by the wind that day but they explained how they felt the same way too. To make matters worst, after every five minutes one would complain and ask where our ride was. My friends repetition felt like a child going on a roadtrip constantly asking, "Are we there yet?" over and over again. It became frustrating because I didn't always have an answer. Seconds became minutes as time flew by and our ride was still not there. Growing even more impatient, I began to dial the dial tone and my mother answered saying they were going down Corral Hollow. It was hard to believe because once they arrived at school it was about 20 minutes later from when I last called them.
