I have been a fan of roller coasters all my life. Ever since i could remember the roar of the coaster and the screams of the victims made me want to endure the feeling the roller coaster has to offer. After being on a few coasters I decide to up the ante for which roller coaster was the meanest, thrill filled out there and sure enough there was one that finally calls my bluff.

Two hours of waiting and watching each car filled with passengers go up the track and free wall was suspense higher than the peak of mount everest. ten minutes later i am able to strap myself in the car, glide towards the 180 foot drop and sure enough the ride decides to break down. In an instant my feeling of excitement went straight to im going to die. I am 200 feet in the air about to experience a ride that looks like it can make a war veteran cry, twice, and the roller coaster stops midway up the track.

30 minutes into the breakdown i just start to relax and blow off my anticipation. Happy turned to boredom, boredom turned to complaining, then complaining turned to surprised when the ride kicks back into gear. The next thing i know i am head first plummeting tot he ground. i screamed like an eight year old school girl and flapped my legs and arms around like noodles escaping a boiling pot of water. The ride ended and i was in shock. It was ten minutes before i realized that X2 at Magic Mountain was by far the best ride i have ever ridden. We have been though a lot together and needless to say, X2 is close to my heart forever.
