Happy Moment

For many kids at my age, sleep is something that people do not get enough of. Many students of our generation are either spending their time working on their homework or wasting their time doing something not productive. That is why, the lack of sleep is the bane of a student's existance. During the week, I become so caught up in doing my homework or some other extra-curricular activity that I do not get to sleep early and sleep as much as I would like to. This becomes a tiring cycle that happens on a daily basis for eight months a year. However, during the weekends, I get some leeway. For me, there are two moments where sleeping feels just amazing. The first one is when you wake up during the middle of the night. As long as its not constant waking up and having insomnia, I enjoy the random times when I wake up. Whenever I wake up at like 3 A.M., I see the clock and I think to myself, "Hey, I still have about four more hours of sleep." Just knowing the fact that I have four hours left before I have to go to school makes me feel bouyant and happy. The other time when I enjoy sleep is when I get to take daytime naps whenever I am tired. During the weekend, if I am not busy, I like taking naps to just kill time or when I am just tired. Knowing the fact that I have like all the time in the world makes my heart at ease. None of that constant alarm ringing or my mother yelling to wake me up feels good. That is why, those two times of sleep are one of my happiest moments.
