Happy moment.

It was an epic adventure from beginning to end. An adventure like no other (maybe not). It began with the excitement of receiving a large present and tearing off the red gift wrap that hugged it. The box sat on the floor and waited for me to lift up its cover. When I did, to my confusion, I found another box, only slightly smaller. I removed the lid from that box finding again another smaller box, and another, and another and another. Were they joking around with me? Was my gift a box? I thought as the excitement in me faded to disappointment. I became weary of my family's games and stared at them with a look of displeasure. "OPEN IT!" They shouted, laughing and clapping. I stuck my tongue at them bitterly and slowly opened, what I hoped, would be the last box.
Yes! There was an object inside. A rectangular object wrapped in colorful tissue. A smile overcame my frown as I held one of the most majestic gifts of all: a PS3 game.
I jumped up in joy, slid the disk into the PS3 and grabbed the controller from the glass table. I felt my body boil with nervousness not knowing why. As the menu appeared on the screen I smiled and glanced at my brother and sister who smiled back. The journey into the life threatening game began as I clicked NEW GAME.
I walked through scorching hot desserts and whipped my way through wild winds carrying a sword that was about five feet long. My destination was an ancient castle buried in ruins. And upon reaching it, my battles with my enemies grew more and more difficult. Fortunately my strength and skills expanded as well as my defense.
I had almost reached the boss when I heard my mother yell, "GO TO SLEEP!" I sighed in disapointment looking at the clock. Pouting at the late time, I paused my journey and set the controller back on the glass table. My epic adventure will continue later tonight, I thought smirking, as I walked up the stairs and into my bedroom.
Today was one of the most happiest moments in my life.
