Fun experiences

So, Dakota called me one day out of the blue and told me to get my bum over to her house for a party. Me, with no objections or previous engagements, threw my stuff into the car and headed towards Lathrop. The whole way there I was thinking about how much Dakota has made a difference in my life, and that I was the luckies person ever to have her as not only a friend, but a longlost sister. I eventually started thinking that this party was going to be amazing because anytime you pair up my twin and me, things c an get exciting.

I pulled up infrot of her little house in lathrop, and I wasn't even out of the car before she was attacking me with a hug. The party was for her brother's graduation so all the people from his igh school (the school i went to freshman year) were there, and we were happy to be reunited after a long year of seperation. The party rocked on all day with swimming, and games. The music was loud and inviting, my friends laughter gave me and feeling of comfort, and nothing could break down the fact that we were all generally happy!

But like all good things, the party slowly dissolved into a few stragglers. By about eight p.m. we were all gathered around the little fire pit where we talked for ages about the most random things. Eventually we all ended up in pj's and sweaters, and everyone was sitting together leaning on each toher trying to stay warm, but of course we wouldnt give up and go inside. One by one, people's parents called them away, until it was only Marce and I were left besides Dakota's family.

This party may not have been like the ones they have in an L.A. dance club, or like a high school party you see in the movies, but it was perfect for me. It's a moment I will never forget because i was truely happy, and it was one of the funnest parties ever. I got to be with my sister/best friend/ twin all day and she makes anything fun. Since then, I have not had nearly as much of a good time then I did on that day.
